I feel the same way about this process even though I'm not "working" and my questions are very different. ;) side note: I was going to read EPL this summer after it was highly acclaimed by Oprah. and then I was sidetracked. Let me know how it goes!we need to chat it up again sometime soon when you have the chance!Ashley @ pure and lovelyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17055470489277299472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14313954.post-72689106143517532972007-11-26T11:06:00.000-06:002007-11-26T11:06:00.000-06:00Correction--I have read this one, but I still have...Correction--I have read this one, but I still haven't gotten around to Run!Tiffany Norrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16030610462498175664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14313954.post-62940086394518670142007-11-26T11:05:00.000-06:002007-11-26T11:05:00.000-06:00Great questions. Can't wait to read this one, and I look forward to hearing what you think about it!Tiffany Norrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16030610462498175664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14313954.post-78908447046422433452007-11-21T22:32:00.000-06:002007-11-21T22:32:00.000-06:00My mom is 2 1/2 years away from retirement..from t...My mom is 2 1/2 years away from retirement..from teaching. She has always had a positive outlook on life and teaching. I've constantly joked with her that her favorite students have always been the thugs.

She is as depressed about the attitudes of the kids as you are. She has shared with me that several of her friends that are new to teaching are already thinking about getting out because they are so deflated from their short experience.

I will keep you in my prayers so that you can continue to trudge forward. I know you touch more lives than you realize, and my children need to grow up to have teachers like you!Jameyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15961212351890146534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14313954.post-16133234778157510312007-11-21T13:41:00.000-06:002007-11-21T13:41:00.000-06:00I'm loving Eat, Pray, Love. Do you think part of it is "culture-shock?" I worry about that if/when I move out of my ghetto school.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17996333972305792993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14313954.post-53540523965522758902007-11-20T23:06:00.000-06:002007-11-20T23:06:00.000-06:00Those books look wonderful--I'm actually crossing ...Those books look wonderful--I'm actually crossing my fingers to be able to check "Eat Pray Love" out of the library tomorrow morning before we head out of town.

I love you and your words.Jesse Farishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02415283192220270619noreply@blogger.com
