Food Ideas??? Help!

My sis-in-law had a baby last week, and we're going down to visit this weekend. I'd like to bring her family a meal, and I'm coming up short on ideas. What meals do you like to take to new moms? If you are a mom, what have been some of your favorites?

Any ideas are welcome--I'm wide open to suggestions!!!

so...when my mom taught child birth classes...her meal of choice to take to new moms was chicken almondine...aka... poppy seed chicken. it was yummy and easy to reheat. and almost everyone likes it. :) that's my 2 cents.

I have a real neat recipe for a cheese ravioli lasagna. YOu buy those frozen big round cheese raviolis from Sams. You brown hamburger meat and then add sauce then you layer: frozen ravioloi, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. IT is soooo good! Cover with Aluminum foil for about 20 minutes on 350 then take foil off and bake 10-15 minutes longer.

Here's a great one that I just made for a neighbor who just had baby #2:

Ritzy Parmesan Chicken

Ingrediensts:
4-5 Chicken Breasts
1/2 pkg Ritz crackers, crushed
3/4 C grated Parm.cheese
1/4 C chopped fresh parsley (I just use parsley flakes)
2 tsps salt
1/8 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 C butter, melted

Blend Crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt, pepper,& garlic. Put in bowl. Put melted butter in 2nd bowl then dip each chicken piece in butter and then roll in crumb mixture. Place in baking dish and drizzle remaining butter and crumb mixture over chicken. Bake uncovered @ 350 for 1hr.

It is easy and yummy! Enjoy!

Thanks for all of your help and suggestions. In the past 2 weeks, I've made food for 3 families and have used your suggestions! I've also doubled up and made double for me and Patrick. He has enjoyed all the meals as well! :)
