Grammar Nazism

I can always tell that school is about to start when I subconsciously slip back into Grammar Nazi mode...

Current Frustrations:

1. colons after verbs
2. definately

What things irk you to the point of nervous tics?

*Disclaimer: Being said Grammar Nazi doesn't exclude me from mistakes of my own that when caught cause the doubly intense tic.*

I can't keep up with you anymore! I hate it when people misuse to, two, and too. drives me BONKERS..Which leads me to, remember that candy? Those were sooo good. And now I am craving bonkers.

Its versus It's.
It's not that difficult, people. :)

By the way, good luck church hunting! We'll be going through that soon enough!

Using 's when the word isn't possessive. There's a restaurant here that proudly advertises its wing's and ribs. I also hate the overuse of quotes (although I'm sometimes guilty).

I agree with all of the above comments. Of course, because I am so annoyed by grammar mistakes, I catch a lot of flack when I make them. :-)

One of the most annoying spoken grammatical errors for me is "I done" or "she/he done". I have a co-worker who uses that phrase constantly. "She done it yesterday!"
