In Cold Blood

I just finished watching Capote. It took me three times, and he really creeped me out, but I'm glad I watched it. I loved that Harper Lee, a fellow Chi Omega and a major reason for me pledging, was in it. I plan on rereading To Kill a Mockingbird and then following up with Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. My mom and dad both really enjoyed it...

OMGAH was it really good? heres an idea..let me drag you all over town for my crazy idea that I never really think through, and on the way, we can drop off your movie. Then, after I make you go with me to a bazillion stores to find a tent to I can be like Jesse and be a cool decorator dinner party person, we will go to the antiques store where you will find the perfect corner peice where the stupid booth lady will fake you out and make you get your hopes up...womp womp not for sale! then we can get an exploding dr. pepper and call it a day. deal??

A friend of mine said last night that "To Kill a Mockingbird" was Truman Capote's best work... He said Harper Lee didn't write it... I mean, because what else did she write? Oh, this crushed my spirits. But I do NOT buy into his theory.

In Cold Blood is such a good book (and movie). Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did (I read it way back in 10th grade when the tv miniseries with Anthony Edwards and Eric Roberts aired).
